Established in 1942 as a recreational haven by colonial settlers, Nairobi National Park offers a unique blend of ecosystems within its limited 177 sq km expanse.
Detailed Itinerary
Your adventure begins with a prompt 6:00 am pick-up from your Nairobi Location, followed by a captivating game drive starting at 6:15 am. Marvel at the Ivory burning monument and the sprawling savannah grasslands, home to lions and gazelles. Venture into the dry forest to spot black rhinos, leopards, and a variety of birds, before descending to the river Mbagathi to seek out crocodiles and hippos in the picturesque Morkoyiet valley.
As the morning unfolds, return to the savannah to encounter white rhinos, buffalos, and giraffes, and visit the man-made dams of Athi and hyena dams at 11:00 am. Finally, at 11:30 am, exit the park and be transported back to your Nairobi hotel by 12:00 pm, concluding a memorable and enriching Nairobi National Park Day Tour.
