Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Your Braverly Holidays driver-guide will meet and welcome you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), your hotel or residence within Nairobi at the agreed time. After a short safari briefing, board your private 4x4 safari Land Cruiser and begin the journey southeast towards Amboseli National Park.
As Nairobi gives way to southern Kenya's open landscapes, your safari experience begins before you reach the park. On arrival, check in at your selected lodge or camp. Depending on arrival time and conditions, you may have time to settle in and enjoy the surroundings before dinner.
Full-Day Amboseli Safari
Spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, open plains, seasonal wetlands and views towards Mount Kilimanjaro when conditions are clear.
Your safari guide will explore different areas according to wildlife movement and local conditions. Possible sightings may include elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, antelope, predators and abundant birdlife.
Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, depart Amboseli and travel north towards Lake Naivasha in Kenya's Great Rift Valley. The route passes through changing landscapes before reaching the cooler lake region.
At Lake Naivasha, enjoy a boat ride followed by a guided nature walk on Crescent Island. This provides a relaxing contrast to traditional wildlife game drives.
Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara
After breakfast, leave Lake Naivasha and continue towards the Maasai Mara. The road takes you through the Great Rift Valley and onward into the rolling landscapes of southwestern Kenya.
Arrive at your selected safari camp or lodge and settle into the Mara. Depending on your arrival time, road conditions and accommodation location, you can relax at camp or enjoy an additional experience arranged in advance.
Full-Day Maasai Mara Safari
Spend a full day exploring the Maasai Mara's grasslands, river systems and wildlife-rich habitats. Your guide will plan the game-viewing route according to wildlife movement and conditions on the day.
Possible sightings may include lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, antelope and other plains wildlife. Optional experiences such as a hot-air balloon safari, Maasai village visit, bush breakfast or sundowner can be arranged at an additional cost and subject to availability.
Maasai Mara to Nairobi / JKIA
After breakfast, check out and begin the return journey to Nairobi. No game drive is scheduled on this final day unless specifically added to your customized itinerary.
On arrival in Nairobi, your driver-guide will drop you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your Nairobi hotel or residence according to the confirmed arrangements. If connecting to an international flight, allow sufficient time because traffic and road conditions can affect arrival time.
